£35-£50K (£75K OTE)

Salary: £35-£50K base with £75K OTE

Location: Reading or Remote with occasional travel to Reading office

Start date: ASAP

Our client, a rapidly growing Microsoft partner is looking to hire a Business Development Representative to help spearhead an aggressive period of growth.

This business has deep domain expertise around Microsoft Data Services and provides managed services consultancy around public, private and hybrid cloud solutions. They are seeking an SDR with strong technical knowledge and experience of selling managed services solutions to both existing and new customers.

You’ll be targeted with generating new opportunities for the Commercial Lead to grow wallet share within their existing client base, upselling and across selling additional services. You’ll also be required to generate net new opportunities and have the support of a marketing team to help identify and nurture new prospects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver new opportunities in line with agreed targets
  • Follow up and convert warm leads generated by the marketing team
  • Work with the marketing team on customer acquisition campaigns
  • Manage your pipeline through the clients’ CRM system

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Demonstrable experience and success in an SDR role
  • Ability to persuade and converse with C-Level executives
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of complex IT solutions and public cloud offerings
  • Excellent communications skills
  • A passion for sales

Preferred

  • Experience selling managed services highly advantageous
